Lucia McElwain, O.D.

Originally from Ontario, Canada, Dr. Lucia McElwain’s journey in eye care began right here in Mount Pleasant, where she attended Central Michigan University for her undergraduate studies. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.

During her clinical training, Dr. McElwain completed intensive rotations at the Michigan Eye Institute and within The Optics Group network.

As an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Michigan Optometric Association, Dr. McElwain stays at the forefront of clinical research and diagnostic technology. She is passionate about providing comprehensive eye care, focusing on long-term ocular health and routine vision wellness for patients of all ages.
