Shelly Young

Shelly brings over 30 years of experience in the optical field to The Optics Group, with a dedicated focus on vision therapy. She completed her vision therapy training through an apprenticeship with Kyle Lark, OD, and Megan Lark, OD, and has spent her career helping patients of all ages strengthen and improve their visual function.

Shelly takes a hands-on, personalized approach to care, creating programs that support each patient’s individual goals and progress.

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time on Michigan’s hiking trails and being with her children.
